Water Damage

Starting from the top down, every technician in the company holds the IICRC Water Restoration Technician certification and our company policy is to be onsite to any assigned loss in Chicagoland within two hours or less. No assignment is too small OR too large and we are capable of resourcing hundreds of air movers, low grain refrigerant dehumidifiers, large capacity desiccants and full power distribution. Whether salvageable carpet is flood or fire damaged, we also perform all carpet cleaning “in-house” with IICRC certified technicians.

Fire Damage

Although we only have one Certified Restorer, all technicians are IICRC Fire & Smoke restoration certified. We handle everything from onsite cleaning and deodorizing, complete packing and professional moving services, climate controlled and secure storage and complete contents restoration. We are comfortable working in both residential and commercial environments, take business interruption very serious and commit to all of our customers. All workmanship is guaranteed for two years!

Reconstruction

Platinum Restoration is a licensed General Contractor in the city of Chicago and turn-key many projects for our clients and customers. This is a service that only some of our competitors offer and one that most of our customers take advantage of. At best, it is inconvenient for a homeowner to have a loss and look for multiple tradesmen or contractors to get their home or business back to normal and look to us as a company that can take any loss from start to finish, quickly.

Mold Remediation

Although there is seldom any insurance coverage, mold remediation is still a service that keeps our company gainfully employed. We lead from the front with a Council Certified Microbial Remediation Supervisor, well trained technicians, and top quality equipment which enables us to keep our customers safe and perform this service properly. It has also allowed us to transition into the Repair, Renovation, and Painting law with ease. Our firm is certified with the EPA and we are in the process of sending all of our supervisors through the Certified Renovator training.

Permanent Home Generator Installations

Kevin Greaney, our Vice President heads this department and has recently established a relationship with Steiner Power Systems to be one of their preferred vendors. Platinum Restoration is now an authorized KOHLER dealer and will begin installing home generators for our customers immediately.

Everything else:

We do outsource all of our dry cleaning, fine art restoration, oriental rug cleaning, air duct cleaning, furniture refinishing, and document drying but only use the best and most appropriate vendors when needed. We also staff several industry experts who offer consulting and appraisal services. So when it comes to property damage restoration, be it structures or personal belongings, if we don’t do it, we know who does!
